Keep it genuine and avoid generic phrases. Also make sure your profile is complete — it helps the landlord get a clear and trustworthy impression of who you are.

To contact a landlord regarding a listing, go to the listing itself and click either "Book a viewing" or "Contact". If you are logged in and have an active subscription, you can send messages directly via the platform, or follow a link to the landlord's own website to apply there. Please note that an active subscription is usually required to contact the majority of our landlords.

Searching for a new home on Nestoma is completely free. However, to contact landlords and send applications, you need an active subscription. Our subscriptions renew automatically but have no binding period – you can cancel at any time during the current billing cycle. With a subscription, you get full access to all communication features, making your home search both smooth and secure. We offer a 7-day trial for only 1 €, then 45 €/month if you choose to continue.

We continuously review all listings to ensure they meet our guidelines, but as a home seeker it's still important to stay alert. A legitimate listing includes clear information about the home, rental terms, and contact details. Look for well-written descriptions, realistic rent levels, and photos that feel authentic. Be cautious if something seems too good to be true — such as unusually low rent or missing details.
Avoid paying deposits or fees in advance without having a written agreement and verifying the landlord. Whenever possible, use our built-in messaging feature to communicate directly through the platform, as it provides an extra layer of security. If you feel uncertain at any point, you can report the listing to us and we will perform an additional review.
